Outlook Festival’s Safe Scene Policy

Outlook Festival is powered by community. In this community we look out for one another and treat each other with love and respect. A love of music unites us; it doesn't care about race, religion, sexuality or gender, it doesn’t care what you wear or how you express yourself.

We ask you to look out for your fellow Outlook Family. We all navigate events differently, be prepared to give each other space and patience. If you see others you bI elieve may be feeling uncomfortable in any situation, please speak up to a member of security, bar staff, stage guards or to them if you feel able.

Your safety is of the utmost importance to us and if at any time you feel unsafe, unhappy or stressed in a situation our team will be:

On-site: Ask for a bar manager, speak to security or stage guards (in a Hi-Vis), your line-manager, stage manager or artist liaison. Our team is fully trained to support you.

Online: Send us a message via Instagram, Facebook or email via info@outlookfestival.com, we will check these inboxes regularly.

We can provide you with a safe space to sit, talk or take a timeout, follow signs for Welfare. You can also ‘Ask for Angela’ at any of the bars.

Behaviour we deem as disrespectful or disruptive to this community will result in; education, eviction or police involvement.

Behaviours include:

  • Unwanted physical contact and advances

  • Offensive comments to others

  • Physical, mental or emotional abuse

We are asking you to:

  • Respect each other.

  • Look out for your fellow music-fan.

  • Educate each other and discuss negative behaviour.

  • Give each other space to enjoy the music, to dance and to chill.

By following these simple steps we can create a positive environment that allows us to celebrate together and enjoy the music.
