The music will always keep us together! It’s been an exciting time for roots music with some of the genres longest-standing pioneers and champions stepping up to keep the positive vibrations going with a series of new releases and reissues.

SINAI SOUND

A long time in the making, sinai sound have unleashed their debut label release ‘Melodies From The Mountain’. Stalwarts of the UK dub scene, Sinai Sound are known for bridging the gap between traditional dub sound system culture and modern bass music, making this a much anticipated release. IRATION STEPPAS

To celebrate 30 years in the scene iration steppas have teamed up with Dubquake Records to dust off their two first albums: “Original Dub D.A.T.” and “Dubz From De Higher Regionz”, released in 1996 and 2004. These albums are a testament to Iration Steppas pioneering role in the history of the UK dub scene, with their futuristic take on Jamaican rocksteady and roots.

CHANNEL ONE SOUND SYSTEM

Channel One have been supplying us with the classic roots rock sound, re-releasing their first ever label release from 2011, available to download on Bandcamp now.

ASHANTI SELAH

Keeping reggaes roots in vinyl going Ashanti Selah has released a fresh revised version of formerly released 'Pack Up Your Bags', now known as 'Geddion Bootz'. Available now as 150 vinyl copies preorder offer to order exclusively through his Bandcamp page.

MAD PROFESSOR

Mad Professor is celebrating 40 years of his record label which has produced some of the best of British reggae and dub since 1980. The dub legend has spent four decades mixing and producing from his renowned self-built ‘Ariwa sound’ studios in South London. Purchase ‘40 years of dub’ from Bandcamp to enjoy some of these rarer recordings.

O.B.F SOUND SYSTEM

O.B.F Sound System are launching the SIGNZ series vinyls, 6 different vinyls with tracks taken from the SIGNZ album plus exclusive dub mixes and featuring extra artists such as Killa P, Sr Wilson and Charlie P. These are available to preorder on Bandcamp now.

VIBRONICS

Vibronics are reissuing their biggest anthems, with never heard before dub versions, also available to download on Bandcamp.
